The 16th Annual Enterprising Women of the Year Awards Celebration & Conference  will be held Sunday March 4th to Tuesday March 6th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami, Florida. This event will bring together inspiring women business owners from North America and around the world for a series of quality workshops, networking, exhibits, and awards presentations.

HRSG’s CEO, Dr. Suzanne Simpson, is one of the winners of this prestigious awards program run by Enterprising Women magazine. To win, nominees must demonstrate that they have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women and girls involved in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities. Many of the honorees also serve as leaders of the key organizations that support the growth of women’s entrepreneurship. Award winners were recognized in seven categories this year based on annual sales revenues; Suzanne was awarded in the $5 million to $10 million category, and is one of only two entrepreneurs from Canada to be honored at this year’s conference.

The keynote speaker at this year’s celebration and conference is Sheila Johnson, the first African-American woman billionaire. She will be sharing her insights and personal story in order to help female entrepreneurs grow their businesses. At the annual “Hall of Fame Luncheon,” one winner will be inducted into the Enterprising Women Hall of Fame, two will receive the 2018 Advocacy Award, and one winner will receive the 2018 Legacy Award.

The event is open to award honorees, corporate supporters, members of the Enterprising Women Advisory Board, VIPs in the women’s business community, readers of Enterprising Women magazine, and members of the many partner organizations affiliated with Enterprising Women.
